For years it has been like this but now it is louder and more annoying, I can’t tell if it’s the fan or the psu. It sounds like drums 24/7 and sometimes the occasional buzzzzzz but in a loud sorta grinding noise. What will I do. you can hear it through the wall!
No – I started at 15 and my first band was at 17
Well I’m a DJ, and my school hired me to DJ a rave this Friday. I want to put a few drum and bass songs in my set list.( it mainly consists of dubstep, trance, and electronica)

5) …. that’s it
)
me and my friend are setting up an acoustic drum set and we want to find out the cheapest way (that still sounds ok) to record a set of acoustic drums so that we can loop it and then play along on bass and guitar.
My friend wants to start a band with me, since I’m a drummer. So, basically it will be her as a singer, my other friend playing guitar, and me on drums. But, she can’t sing very well. I tried to talk her out on it and say, “Why don’t you get a bass, my dad can teach you a song, and you’ll sing backups?” but her heart is set on it! She thinks I think she’s okay at singing, since I never say anything negative. What should I do? How do I tell her she’s not right for a singer? Please sugar coat what I should say, because people say I’ve never been mean, and I want to try and stay that way. Thank You!
my character; and culture
i grew up with anime, you know dbz, naruto – i watched anime more then regular cartoons, i was infatuated with japan, and at one point i learned to stop daydreaming utopia and being closed minded, there being good and bad in every country;
i’ll give an example, when it comes to culture i try to pick up subtle things;
usually i’ll watch movies or cartoons with subs sometimes not and try to learn a few words.
an example would be watching a scene from a movie called seopyeonje the clip was called a traditional voice of korea and was not subbed; i know loads of history about korea, smashed between japan and china, they are a nation that has struggled for centuries with imperialist agressors, the states, the soviets, the japanese, the chinese, the mongolians; they’ve been pushed around but fought on with a courage i can only understand this concept by looking at their culture, trying to understand them – to put myself into their heads – but through the eyes of a child;
this song, i can’t understand what they are singing, i don’t know how to speak korean; but on an emotional level i understand as i see tears flowing down their cheeks
this woman sings, and this man plays the drum;
i’m reminded of the endless struggle that through history has been and is korea
is it a bad thing that i try to learn as much as i can about every single culture
am i just destroying my character again and again ? or is this a good thing?
i just think personally that i’m still a child so i should act like one; especially when it comes to cultures; i think the number one fear i have is growing old, having learnt nothing of the world
being ignorant and snide; because once i hit a certain age, my mind is closing no matter what i do
I have a drum set and a guitar. I tried to play the guitar but I broke most of strings so I play drums. People Say I’m really good but I don’t want people to think I’m a lesbian or that kinda s- so is it weird?
